How to load a Sentry 's KM on PATROL Console Operator when the KM does not appear and when getting loading errors in the System Output Window and in the *.errs log file available in %PATROL_HOME%\log.

Description

The Sentry Software KMs may fail to load on PATROL Console Operator when using the version 9.0 of the PATROL Agent. In that case, the following errors are displayed in the System Output Window and in the *.errs log file %PATROL_HOME%\log:

Message: attribute 'annotate' is not declared for element 'MenuCommand'

Message: attribute 'autoID' is not declared for element 'MenuCommand'

Solution

  1. Stop the PATROL Agent.
  2. Download and unzip KMFile.zip.
  3. Copy and paste the KMFile.xsd file to the $PATROL_HOME/lib/knowledge directory on the server where the PATROL Agent runs
  4. Restart the PATROL Agent.

Nothing needs to be installed on Console systems.
