Objective
This article explains how to set up the monitoring of HP StorageWorks MSA2000 and P2000 systems in TrueSight. MSA2000 and P2000 storage systems are often used in direct attach or small SAN environments.
Requirements
Supported Platforms
All versions of HP StorageWorks MSA2000 / P2000.
Instrumentation Requirements
The solution will use the SSH protocol to connect directly to the HP MSA Management Card of the HP StorageWorks MSA2000 or P2000 system. To configure your monitoring solution, you will need network access to the storage system and credentials to connect to the HP MSA Management Card through SSH.
